What's Good In Your Neighborhood?
This section is strictly for my peoples of the hip hop generation. There are many out there who have a problem with the hip-hop generation. Some say they wear their pants sagging. Others say they're too violent or they're a bad influence on the youth. Me personally I feel that hip hop is a generation that doesn't have a slave mentality. All rappers listed are rappers deserving of recognition. It's not about who makes catchy beats, who makes the top charts, gets a award, or comes up with a dance step. This list is about lyrical skills mixed with metaphors. These are rappers who spend time composing a rap that makes you think about what they're saying. You can listen to the rhyme 10 times and still catch on to a metaphore you missed before. Most rappers today are just running their mouth. They present no brain stimulation. So much respect goes to the rappers listed above.
